Finally, Kaspersky came up with a temporary solution so that we can use online banking. This was not too early, but thanks to Kaspersky anyway. Hope there is no new update that reverses this fix.:thumb::)

Thanks very much for the info, @Libraman. It usually takes a pretty long time before new patches arrive here, but I really don't mind.:)

I have to wonder if they fixed the issues with Alienware Command Center but I doubt it. Either way I already bought a replacement for KIS so I guess I'll have to keep wondering.

You guys can wait for the update or apply the previously mentioned registry change and get it immediately. Your choice.

The new patch will arrive here sooner or later, so I really don't feel the need to apply any registry hacks, but thanks for the info anyway.

Removal tool for Kaspersky applications (kavremover)
    https://support.kaspersky.com/common/uninstall/1464?.el=1464

"Do not use the kavremover tool unless recommended to do so by
    Kaspersky technical support engineers"

And I would follow that advice. I ran it once and Macrium Reflect would no longer image my machine. It broke Volume Shadow Copy service.

+1 After running it a couple of years ago, my computer refused to boot into Windows. I did manage to do something about it, but it was a real pain in the neck.

I've had this issue. It seems even more likely if you are running KIS and Acronis together.
