the desktop computer wont show picture on monitor after a restart. upon starting my computer from cold the monitor says no signal and shows a black screen, i have confirmed that both source inputs (HDMI,VGA) on monitor and computer are working. i have managed to get a display by pressing the "del" key on keyboard and after exiting the bios discarding any changes i can load windows 10 and get a screen as normal, but after restarting without making any changes i cant repeat again. the computer doesnt have a dedicated sleep or hibernate key and to my knowledge i havent enabled or changed any power management or power saving
for future reference does anybody of a bootdisk or boot media or maybe a prog or util that will allow changing of resolution / refresh rate so that its possible to boot into a usable resolution.after a reboot for reference when powering on the screen goes blank or possibly after a very short delay, windows boots because i can hear it, but the screen stats blank
