This is probably due to Google pushing some experiments onto users. It's why I use Chromium, and not Chrome. Big difference.

I've been having issues with YouTube crashing in Chrome. Yet another reason to use Firefox.

Firefox is slower on youtube, i think, i mean, videos a running more smooth here in chromium - and with a higher resolution without drops.

Google Chrome is spyware filled crap, everybody knows this. And they should be ashamed for causing these crashes, hopefully the affected people will now switch to another browser.

I know, but people often speak about chrome when they mean chromium. and no, chromium 90 is not crashing on youtube nor other pages here. either its really chrome specific (closed source) or windows 10 specific (running latest ltsc)
