New week, new adventures and new disappointments. Today, we have a review of Kubuntu 21.04 Hirsute Hippo, tested in a triple-boot Windows and Linux configuration on a laptop with Ryzen processor and Vega graphics, covering live session, installation and some post-install usage, including partitioning, boot speed, default ergonomics, HD display scaling, Samba connectivity, media playback, network throughput, performance, resource usage, battery life, tons of regressions and various new problems, and more. So yeah. https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/kubuntu-hirsute.html Cheers, Mrk
Thanks. You're my Special Correspondent for Linux distros, makes choosing so much easier. Based on your reports just installed MX-19 on a bunch of 2012 Macbooks, 6 down, 9 to go. It's takes longer to physically clean them than install the OS and make a few tweaks.
