Anyone in Insiders Beta channel? Got two updates today: KB5003345 (Feature Experience Pack) and Cumulative update just now for 21H1 KB5001391--7:45 pm Eastern Time. The first installed in a couple of seconds, the second in about 2 minutes start to finish. I'm not starting with the clean-up thing this time, I'll leave that alone.

Winver: 19043.964. :) No changelog yet on the official Microsoft site.

I got the same updates on the Preview release channel. Same build version as well.

I'm not running any insiders build and this was offered. This is not a Beta but Release Preview, just like evetything else lately form the Microsoft Mess of updates. This whole OS is one relewase preview / BETA pile of bugs

Yup. I just checked and low and behold this was offered to me. Just installed it. I am now on .964 of 20H2. No weather in the taskbar as I have read however.

No, no News and Interests.. Just tried a registry file from here, and it didn't work. I'm thinking I may still have to reset this machine entirely-- I can't repair Edge either. It's 50-50 odds.

Gotcha. I just figure it did not work for me since I am on Enterprise version but who knows. Sorry to hear about your machine.

I got out of the beta channel, first and foremost because one of their updates resulted in bluescreens when using hibernation, and when I tried to exit the beta channel they wouldn't recognize my MS account password... Re-installed Windows, a pain in the back, but necessary...

That's why I keep on release preview... I have never had any problems with it and mostly I receive updates to fix bugs and vulnerabilities around a week before the stable channel.

Wow, I'm sorry that happened--that's enough to drive anyone with half a brain cell out of the Insiders program. Lately, it's been one thing or another for some...I'm thinking of that KB5000842. .My Edge issue turned out to be a false alarm--now everything's really OK but I don't expect perfect conditions forever.

If Beta channel proves too much down the road, Release Preview sounds pretty good. :)

I love new systems with all their novelties and imperfections, but MS didn't give me any other choice. I have the home edition which allows you to pause updates up to 1 week (ridiculous one should pause them for as long as it is required). All of my old system images were fine but as soon as the week was up, updates would return the bugs I was trying to avoid, it was a vicious circle. Furthermore nowadays I don't have the patience and time to find out why certain drivers cause bluescreens.

Osaban, have you looked at the Advanced Update option in Win10? It allows to set a date into the future, about a 30 day pause.

Thanks JRViejo, it's good to know there is a possibility to pause it for 35 days, it seems a reasonable delay to allow MS to fix some bugs, nevertheless I'm done with the beta channel...
