Anyone familiar with Achievement Watcher? How do i get toast notification (using xbox game bar) to show up instead of balloon tooltip (using powershell). Achievement Watcher is installed inside sandboxie.

Hi guys, Sandboxie user since early Tzuk's days here. Is there a description how to install the latest Classic on Win 7? I followed the discussion about the issue with the WHQL certificate, but can't find the installation procedure, i.e. how to use the the installer Sandboxie-Classic-x64-v5.49.0.exe together with the driver
    Provisional.Windows.7.Drivers.zip. Thank you!

For Windows 7 users the provisional driver is now distributed separately, during install the setup will prompt to provide the required driver file which is to be downloaded and unpacked manually.
Note: I'm W10. FWIW ~ I imagine W7 users swap SbieDrv.sys from the Sandboxie installer with SbieDrv.sys from unpacked Provisional.Windows.7.Drivers.zip.

Thank you bjm_. I imagine that too :) I was just hoping that there's an authoritative description how to proceed that I have perhaps missed. I guess it's "system image & try" then :)

Run the instaler, if it think it needs the provisional driver it will ask you with a message box to provide it, if it does unpack the zip and the use the file picker dialog to select the file in the extracted folder.

Thank you so much David! For your work and for this advice. Will indeed report back once I get around to the installation.

Hi david, i was trying to view https://xanasoft.com/sandboxie/sbie_dll_api/ and it say there is some host error, is your server down ?
I am trying to use that dll to interact with sandboxie. Is there any way to retrieve all sanboxies names with this api and then do something like enumerate processes and so on ?

Yea an entire data center burned down, next to the one where my server stood, on Monday it may get back up, as that building was only slightly damaged LOL
I guess OVH wanted to urgently migrate their customers data into the clowd LOL.

to your technical question, I would recommend to take a look into my API implementation for Qt: https://github.com/sandboxie-plus/Sandboxie/tree/master/SandboxiePlus/QSbieAPI and as its done there talk directly to the driver

Just installed 5.49.5 and I'm now getting an error I never got with previous versions:

SBIE2101 Object name not found: Unnamed object, error OpenProcess (C0000022) access=001FFFFF initialized=1

This happens in my Opera sandbox. Once Opera is running in the sandbox I start Sticky password if needed. This is still working fine. But if I then close Opera (and leave Sticky password running) and restart it, then it creates the above error message and Sticky password quits.

Is there maybe a settings I may need to activate/deactivate?

I'm running Sandboxie Classic 64bit on WIN 1909 64 bit. Opera 75 32 bit latest stable version

Opera and Sticky password are both installed outside of the sandbox

Do you start Sticky password explicitly or is it started by the extension?

When I need to login somewhere I click on the Sticky Password icon which can be found on the upper right of the Opera browser window

Hi, I've been running the Sophos version up til now but want to give David's Sandboxie Classic version a try. Apologies if this has already been answered, but..

    - Are there are no longer any recommended exclusions for Sandboxie classic in Win 10 (with Windows Security)?

    - Also, if upgrading just to Sbie Classic (not Plus), is it still recommended to uninstall the Sophos build first? If so, does the Windows Add/Remove process prompt to save the .ini file? (My Sandboxie folder does not have an uninstall.exe file)

    Merci...
