    Hi.
    With Gnome 3, when you right-click in a folder, you don't have a choice to create a new file...
    Ridiculous if you ask me.
    But is there away to overcome this limitation?
    I did a search in Gnome extension to no avail.

    Thanks in advance!

    Code:
    $ touch ~/Templates/"Untitled Document"

    You can manually copy files into the Templates folder. Any "new" file of a specific type will then be available via right click. For example, New Text.txt, New Writer.odt, etc.

    Oh, cool, thanks!
    I guess they must be valid files though, not 0 bytes files with just the right name.
    I save empty files there, and that's it.
