A new week, a new Linux review. This time, I'm taking Plasma 5.21 for a spin, covering an in-vivo upgrade, look and feel, new theming, fonts and HD scaling, desktop tweaks and polish, Discover improvements, System Monitor, firewall control, various bugs, problems, regressions and crashes, and more. Take a look. https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/plasma-5-21-review.html Cheers, Mrk
Good review. My only complaints are the large icons for Favorites on the new Application Launcher. I am not to fond of the new System Monitor, but I can see it has promise. The one thing that annoyed me the most was the Widget replacements. I was using a CPU monitoring widget. Those old widget has been replaced by (in my opinion) useless new System Monitor widgets KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.11.4 OS Type: 64-bit Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 4 × AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 840 Processor Memory: 7.8 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: GeForce GT 730/PCIe/SSE2
