P.S. I've just run that browseraudit test on Dissenter, and it passed without any "critical" issues.
I know Dissenter is an obsolete browser.

How do I stop this every time I open Brave?

I'm just about ready to uninstall it as I hardly ever use it now anyway.

I too have had to move on from Brave after a short trial, its built in adblocker may be ok for general browsing, but move off the well worn track and step into the wilderness and if fails badly.

I use a site that provides links for live sport streaming, when viewing some of these sites i found unsolicited tabs opening showing matter ranging from pornography, gambling and dating sites.Setting shields to aggressive did nothing to help.

When using my usual Chrome clone with UBO installed i never get a peep,no tabs opening on their own and no ads seen.

I know i can add UBO to Brave but i wanted to try a browser with built in adblocking with an eye looking toward Manifest 3.

There is more to Brave than just a built-in adblocker

    https://brave.com/privacy-updates-4/
    https://brave.com/privacy-updates-6/

I remember about year ago someone posted a link to a site that tests a browser's private windows (incognito mode, etc)

The user writes something. The site will give you link. And then the user would need to open a private window and use the link, if you saw what you just wrote on the site then the browser failed.

Edge and Chrome failed. Only one that was able to succeed was Brave.

    You're absolutely right.
If you ever want to try it again, I see they're working on adding a 'Do not show again' checkbox.
They could've thought of that sooner.

I am always sceptical about Brave's privacy and tend not to use it.
This morning, I've checked my Brave for DNS LEAKS and...

There is something between Brave and me.

This is the result when using SW Iron with the same VPN app and a VPN proxy in the browser.

I'd probably be content with Vivaldi on Ubuntu but it won't save my ProtonMail password, which is inconvenient.

In fact, on Ubuntu, it claims it can't find any saved passwords. o_O

that's odd. you're not running it in private mode, are you? or blocking 3rd party cookies may be the culprit?
