@Page42 , @Brummelchen , Version 7.12.54 is not shown yet = https://www.firetrust.com/products/mailwasher-pro/change-log https://www.firetrust.com/products/mailwasher-pro so it's a beta too......
my updater show it today, so i assume "final" and it has same hash sha256 as my link before 098DDC1B2281D1659DE97F19275222C0FDB3239F834BACF50976F6A79E7BD3D3
When you posted softpedia and downloadcrew links to 7.12.53 last week, it was Firetrust support who said 53 was the "latest beta version", not me.

It's probably just this machine. If I delay it's start from within Norton it does start. I don't know why it doesn't without the delay though.
MailWasher 7.12.58 Pro Released (October 2021) Website (Free / Pro) Changelog - changelog for v7.12.58 not available yet - Download Pro: http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/mailwasher_pro/7/mailwasher_pro_setup_7_12_58.exe
My laptop has been making a ding every 10 minutes and until this morning I couldn't track down the cause. Today I opened Mailwasher Free and noticed and Error tab. Checking that I noticed the error connecting to the IMAP server corresponded with the dinging I've been hearing. It turns out that on my laptop my machine cannot connect to the mail server while I'm using Kaspersky VPN. That is understandable I guess but a little odd because I have been using Kaspersky VPN on my desktop and have no problem connecting to the server and receiving emails. I don't know why the difference between the machines but at least I'm not hearing that annoying ding anymore.
.57. I wasn't offered .58 when I downloaded. I just checked and they're still offering .57 on the free version download link.
The Link to .57 above is still valid, to repeat: Code: http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/mailwasher_pro/7/mailwasher_pro_setup_7_12_58.exe
MailWasher Pro 7.12.67 February 2, 2022 https://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/E-mail/Anti-Spam-Tools/MailWasher-Pro.shtml https://www.downloadcrew.com/article/23375/mailwasher_pro Release notes (not yet available): https://www.firetrust.com/products/mailwasher-pro/change-log Edit:
It looks like after May 30, 2022 Mailwasher (and probably other 3rd party spam filters?) won't work like the way before, because... "Google has decided to begin phasing out Less Secure Apps from May 30th, 2022. Google Workspace and Google Cloud Identity users won’t be affected right away, but support for Less Secure Apps will still be phased out for those users at a later date" added later: Workaround seems to be the use of an one-off app password and (uncomfortably..) 2FA(?)
original text https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en but https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185839?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform=Android 2FA (MFA) means that you need a return from a trusted device, which is preferred, not the device which is used to check mails. my computer and my phones are trusted devices. so i am pretty sure that google will only ask me once. you already can activate 2FA, and also revoke it, until may'30, to try it out. NOW!
you can chose SMS or phone. if you do now own such simple device - a regular phone, thats too bad. the only left choice are tools like this https://winauth.github.io/winauth/index.html
