    Hello @DavidXanatos, latest build installs fine but yesterday I found out about a problem, it seems. I upgraded "Free Download Manager" to its latest release and since then neither the corresponding Chrome-plugin nor the Opera-plugin will intercept downloads any more. Even the right-click-option "download with FDM" doesn't seem to work any longer.

    So I reverted to the previous FDM-build 6.13.3 - but no success either. Then I tried to start Opera/Chrome outside the sandbox - and suddenly the intercept did work again, even with latest FDM-version 6.13.4.

    Thus it would appear that the latest Sandboxie-Plus upgrade may have been the culprit and I only did not realize the problem with FDM until its latest upgrade while the problem may have existed with v.6.13.3 and earlier builds as well.

    Strange thing is - I faintly remember, wasn't there a special global-compatibility-setting in Sandboxie for FDM before? Not sure about that, anyway, it seems gone now. But the issue remains that the corresponding FDM-Chrome/Opera-plugin (v3.0.55) all of a sudden has stopped intercepting downloads since the last or last-but-one Sandboxie-Plus-upgrade while it will work correctly with the un-sandboxed browser.

    Any thoughts about this problem?

    See the changelog, what is now the default behavior?

    Hello gents! Installed this yesterday after I saw that the drivers are now signed. It's working splendidly for the most part, however:
    - Adding a user to a sandbox seems to be broken. After pressing apply the user disappears from the list.
    - Saving a file in Firefox takes a lot longer than it should IMO. Explorer takes ages to open.

    Other programs on my PC:
    KeyScrambler
    Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit beta
    SuperF4

    Thanks a lot, @stapp & others for their valuable advice. It did work for now, although download intercept seems to having been slowed down a bit.

    Silly question remaining: what does
    "RpcMgmtSetComTimeout=fdm.exe,y"
    actually mean? Is it just a temporary workaround until a final fix in Sandboxie?
    Or will that line be necessary from now on and forever for download-intercept by FDM?
    Which behaviour in Sandboxie-Plus has been altered purposefully (or just by accident?) to make that line necessary?

    How would I - or anyone else for that matter - know that some FDM-extension for certain browsers will need special "IPC-handling" and that ominous "RpcMgmtSetComTimeout"-setting, whatever that means, with a specially adapted setting?
    I did read the changelog though before downloading v.0.7.0 - but this "improved IPC handling" meant nothing to me (and still doesn't) and so did not provide me with any hint that this might cause severe difficulties with FDM and download-interception. Or should it have in your opinion?

    If something changed, which is did according to the changelog, then something broke, which it did according to you, why not test to see if turning "something changed" OFF (or back ON) fixes it? Why waste other peoples time if you can't be bothered to do some basic troubleshooting.

    It still is a mystery to me how I should have anticipated - without the link provided by @stapp - any connection between those 2 circumstances, moreover, without the knowledge of that line to insert, how to turn this "feature" "OFF (or back ON)"-again, given the lack of any Syntax in the changelog about how to do that.:rolleyes:

    @algol1
    RpcMgmtSetComTimeout is a mess, some RPC calls need it some others fail with it.
    And there does not seam to be a good default value, whatever is default half the users will complain.
    Basically you can break outlook, poppeeper, itunes, chrome installer
    or UAC elevation, fdm, edge, ...

    I opt for having RpcMgmtSetComTimeout=n the default as that is normal windows behavior and was what sbie did until 5.33
    And add a list of dll's that require the altered treatment.
    so no "RpcMgmtSetComTimeout=fdm.exe,y" wont be required in the next build as for he affected dll AppXDeploymentClient.dll sbie will know what to do.

    Hi, after upgrading from 5.33.6 to 5.47 I notice the option to right click on a file and choose run sandboxed has gone, is this just me or was it intentional, thanks in advance

    Hello, starting from 0.6.7, the add templates section has been a mess for me. This applies to any notification messages too. Currently, I'm using 0.7.1.

    Which directories does uBo need access to in order to save changes when sandboxed. I thought it was moz-extension+++68d6dcc5-7091-43a2-a343-ddb00051a13a but that does not seem to work.

    OpenPipePath=waterfox.exe,%AppData%\Waterfox\Profiles\18exd2oi.default\storage\default\moz-extension+++68d6dcc5-7091-43a2-a343-ddb00051a13a\

    doesn't work ^ even though though this is the address used in uBo settings.

    moz-extension://68d6dcc5-7091-43a2-a343-ddb00051a13a/dashboard.html#settings.html

    I don't use Waterfox, but for Firefox "%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxx3x.default-release\storage\default\moz-extension+++705b7326-ffc8-4ee0-a05a-3d3b90981ca9^userContextId=4294967295\" is the path.
    There will be two entries:
    1-"%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxx3x.default-release\storage\default\moz-extension+++705b7326-ffc8-4ee0-a05a-3d3b90981ca9" and

    2-"%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxx3x.default-release\storage\default\moz-extension+++705b7326-ffc8-4ee0-a05a-3d3b90981ca9^userContextId=4294967295\" with "^userContextId=4294967295\", at the end; use that setting. Keep in mind that these are my settings.

    The best way to find those entries is to save settings for UBO and then delete and reinstall, (outside of sandboxie of course) and then go to Storage/Default and check the date of the UBO installation there and then proceed with the above.

    With Windows 1809 I don't have any issues with Firefox and saving. Just thought I'd mention this in case it helps with trouble shooting,

    @DavidXanatos Just installed 0.7.1 and tried the groups again, maybe it got fixed in a version before, however just wanted to report, groups work now as intended, you can add ,move group in group, delete them, move boxes in, delete the group and the subgroup or box stay. All stays sorted. So it looks fine. @Brummelchen if you didn't try, you should be happy now with grouping in plus.
    Another info, Unity Games are fixed. As I am in delay with updates, due to the great quality they show all times, I had some updates in Feb. Parallel to your SBIE update. Result was, no more waiting threads for unity games, all starts and runs fine now. So I tried the previous SBIE version to confirm it was the update and not SBIE and it also works. So we can conclude it was a Windows issue.
    Also noticed the hints for empty boxes in the list, which is nice too, didn't remember I had some empty ones still.

    I have updated Sandboxie to v.48.5 without any problems, without any restarting on my 3 computers.
    Thank you very much, David.

    P.S. Just one person working hard for the whole world!

    Thank you for that. I was never able to get the ^userContextId= part figured out. But the below line works just fine.

    OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,%AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\18exd2oi.default\storage\default\moz-extension+++68d6dcc5-7091-43a2-a343-ddb00051a13a*\*
