I just ran that test and got a leak with MS Edge. I don't have my Mullvad VPN setup at the moment. So I used my AdGuard VPN. Brave showed two leaks and Edge showed one.

EDIT: Nice work. I missed the post that this has been fixed and an upcoming update. Cheers!

Brave is currently in version 1.20. According to Sampson the fix might arrive in version 1.21

I just tested and I do not see a leak. Strange.

Check your version, apparently 1.20.108 fixes the issue

    I've just checked my Brave.
    Version 1.20.108 Chromium: 88.0.4324.182 (Official Build) (64-bit)

    It's LEAKING!

How are you checking this? I tried Browserleaks, and the leak seems fixed so far.

I haven't seen any leaks with Brave with AirVPN and their network lock.
EDIT: Both with Browserleaks and IPleak(also the torrent test.)

Same here minus the fact that I use Mullvad VPN.

As I've mentioned previously, I have a few VPN apps, but, in addition to the desktop VPN apps (just in case) I use a paid VPN proxy extension (extensions) as some additional "security blanket".

    I've checked Brave with BrowserAudit.
It has indicated one "critical" issue - "cookie set by JavaScript should not be sent over HTTP"
Is it the user's or Brave's fault about that "critical" problem?
Should Brave try to fix it?

Edge and Vivaldi give the same results as Brave.

    I don't care about Edge.
I, kind of, care about Vivaldi.
    I do like Brave.
And I like Brave just because the Brave makers listen to us in order to create a truly-safe browser.
It would be interesting to see, maybe, Brave could help their 20 million users.
