Everything seems to be fine except I don't get the recovery box for downloaded files.

Sorry. I missed the second page of comments. I have seen that page, but i'm talking about the screen that pops up on a download and offers you several optinos

    Immediate Recovery window.
Yeah, I do not run Sandboxie with Immediate Recovery on.
R U reporting with Immediate Recovery on. You do not see Immediate Recovery window?
    Edit:
as test ~ I ran Firefox in Default box. I called three downloads - without closing Immediate Recovery window (just minimizing window between downloads).

Note: my Firefox download location is Desktop.

Okay.....I'm still head scratching... why Sandboxie (5.46.5) on new machine is/was not working same as Sandboxie (5.nn.n?) on your old machine.
    Thanks

It's late and i need to go. Thanks SOOOO MUCCCH for your help. I guess it's the configuration (*.ini) file that I should have been able to move over. Instead, I have to reinstall this every 5 years and I can't remember all of the settings. I used SB thru at least 2 computers if not three and I don't remember having this level of difficulty during the changeover. It was about the configs which may have had different default settings in the past than now. That would be my guess.
