@mood Thanks. I just replaced Cent with the Slimjet beta, as unlike Cent, it gets regular updates. Until a very recent beta of Cent was released, which like the new beta of Slimjet is based on Chromium 85, it had received no updates since April and was still using Chromium 80. It's a security risk using outdated browsers, so I thought it was time I switched. For anyone who asks why I don't just use Chrome, there are some features included in both Cent and Slimjet that are not in Chrome/Chromium.
And you're not worry about privacy, you trust them a 100%? For example, I personally don't fully trust browsers like Opera, Edge and Chrome. I do trust Vivaldi and Firefox to a certain degree.
Slimjet 29 is the first version to offer DoH natively with no command-line flag required: it worked perfectly for me. It was also a huge improvement over the bug-ridden version 28 (builds 2 and 3) which crashed at almost every startup. I'm glad that Slimjet is still being well maintained.
Does anyone know how to stop downloads from showing on the bottom of the screen every time I dl a file? Sorry if I missed it in a previous post. The worst part is it doesnt even disappear upon completion... just stays on screen
The current stable build of Chome is at version 88 and was only released a week ago, so it's not too far behind.
Oh yeah sorry I forgot plebs use stable build (jk) Still tho, many of the vulnerabilities when fixed in chrome could have been present for quite some time, so the fact it takes days or even weeks to update to newest chromium is quite a thing
Which is why if you care about having the latest build of Chromium, it's probably best to use Chromium/Chrome. I'm okay with Slimjet taking a few weeks to update to newer build of Chromium.

It has the option to open everything typed in the address bar in a new tab, rather than the current one. This is a feature I've been using in various browsers for the past 17 or so years. There is no Chrome extension which adds this functionality, which is why I use Slimjet.
