Special deals and discounts. What to do, where to post?

I would like to start a little discussion if I'm allowed.
It's that time of that year. A month ago there were Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It's going to be now the Holiday Season.
Usually several companies are then giving discounts.

Recently we had this thread (thanks @Minimalist !). It was in the "other software & services" forum. But somehow I have the feeling that some may have missed it.
Would there be a "need" to improve that in the future? If yes, how?

- Cross posting such a thread in several of the sub-forums?

- Leave it as it is: just only one thread?

- Have a special sub-forum for such deals/discounts?

- Other?

Of course the board owners decide in the end.

 

thanks for bringing this up. i'm for the 3rd option (have a special sub for deals/discounts/promos).

 

Should be one thread only, whether its a sub-forum or not, doesn't matter to me.

 

I'm also for this option if possible.
