    Hi,

I installed F-Secure after recent AV results.

It is very light on system and speed is good too.

If any other user using this, share your review.

Thinking, should I keep it or go back to Kaspersky or Eset?

I have a 3 year license for ESET NOD32 and many other AVs. Sticking to F-Secure AV only, don't need any safe or internet security suite. The AV only still has ransomware protection and HTTP Scanning which is way better in terms of speed like uploading/download files and browsing sites than ESET's HTTP scanner so I'm switching to F-Secure for good. It is super light, clean UI, no bloatware, good price too.

Let's keep the discussion to F-Secure only.

It is extremely light and I recently have installed six other AVs that were heavier on four of my top-end machines. I agree with your post not as a cheerleader for F-Secure> just telling my experience.

I wish there would be more options for tweaking. i'm wondering about the amazing lightness....but how? Files checking only on execution?

Tweaking what? It's an Antivirus, you install it, add some exclusions if needed and you're good to go.

PS: you can turn off HTTP scanning, deep guard, ransomware protection. What else do you wanna tweak?

USA still the best. But barely.
I thought F-Secure was to be discontinued. Guess I'm wrong.

Is there a possibility to set DeepGuard to ask you about possible detections? Or will it block it by default and then you have to put it on whitelist?

Great information and I have installed F-Secure AV only on three other machines and everything is amazingly light- even far lighter than Webroot. Also, the installation takes literally no time at all.

Very impressed so far as I have not used F-Secure of about five years. Vast improvements have obviously been made.

Yes, same here. I tested on my laptop, working light and better than other AVs.

Later I installed on the home desktop and office PCs, everyone feedback is good so far.
(These are having Avira and still so far good).

I feel like I have no AV after a full scan! It's lightness + effectiveness is insane! They have won me over ESET after being an ESET customer for more than 10 years

I have a license for F-Secure Antivirus and VIPRE. In my testing, I find VIPRE Antivirus Plus lighter despite AV Comparatives tests showing that F-Secure is the lightest. They are both great though overall compared to others.
