Same kind of situation here... email today said "Your HitmanPro.Alert product key expires on 11/25/20. Renew now, blah, blah, blah and get 15% off". And the HMP.A GUI says, "Current License Expires 2023-04-04". I have the cleverbridge receipt. The renewal email is wrong, on more than one level. :thumbd:

I also got an email that my license expires in a month, while HMPA GUI shows I have still 6 months.

I heard from Ronny T and the email is tied to the purchase date of the license not the activation date.

Ah well, that clears things up. I hope they can change this behaviour as this is rather confusing.

Rather confusing, yes. Nothing honest about it. Underhanded sales practice, albeit one they will never admit to. If I knew who to report them to I would.

Looks like the FTC is interested in stunts like this...

There will probably be a 50% off deal in a few weeks...

If i get the HMPA license that would be picked up by my stand alone HMP App i would guess.

The HMP license is included with HMPA. HMP license is for HMP only.

Having trouble getting Hitman Pro Alert to allow me to open a process.(in this case, fivem.exe)
FiveM is a multiplayer GTA V mod. Every time I try to open FiveM,Hitman Pro alert blocks it constantly.

It won't let me set a exclusion for that file.I have no idea what to do,so that I can open and play my game in peace..without Hitman Pro Alert blocking it every time.

To get the latest version of HMPA I had to google for a third party website that allowed me to download the latest version.

Why doesn't the offcial website allow the user to download the latest version?

Easy to miss -- it's buried near the bottom of the Homepage in a "Downloads" link .

That is correct. I was auto updated to more recent releases of both HMP and HMPA along the way.

I think the direct links were posted in the related threads here by Ronny around the release time. Try a forum search.

    Aren't the links in @RonnyT 's signature?

Does it update to the latest version after installation?

I was automatically updated to build 887 today. Went to the website for release notes but nothing there yet.
Contacted Sophos support by chat, waited 10 minutes while they researched, then they told me I would in fact have to email HMP support, so wasting my valuable time on something that I shouldn't have to...
Has anyone here seen the release notes perhaps?
    Thanks.

I haven't seen any notes yet, but I received an alert this morning that an HMPA update would be installed at next reboot.
