Should I add those 2 settings to my current setting?
    Code:
    OpenFilePath=c:\windows\system32\spool\printers\*
    Came

If it already works, you do not need to add either of these settings.

Hello , i have the latest Sandboxie version but suddenly it stopped working correctly . Whenever i open Sandboxie none of the websites in my browser show all of a sudden , the only thing i see in the top left corner is (Untitled) message even though the Sandboxie yellow square box shows on the outside edges of my screen.

Don't understand why this is the case , could be a Win 10 update i don't know because it used to work just fine . Any ideas ?

    Thank you

Hi herbc. If your problem is with Chrome or any Chromium based browser (like Edge, Vivaldi, etc), then, as a workaround with SBIE version 5.33.6, you need to change the target path in the browser's shortcut. Read from post 482 to 507.

    Start here:
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...-sbie-open-source.428156/page-20#post-2954919

So, if you are using a Chromium based browser, thats what you need to do to fix the issue if you are using version 5.33.6.

Your other solution is to switch to David Xanato's build. Read here:

Hello pierre, you are not supposed to be getting that kind of error with version 5.33.6. Perhaps you can post an screen of the error.

    I use Sandboxie 5.33.3, Win 10 Pro 2004.

SB works fine with Firefox and Chrome.

I've recently moved to Edge. I imported all my extensions and book marks from Chrome.

Everything works fine in Edge when I'm not using Sandboxie.

When I launch Edge within SB, each extension crashes in turn (screenshot).

The bookmarks don't work. For example, this common URL fails:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world

    Please advise.

    Thanks.

Sophos discontinued Sandboxie. License server is gone forever.

At this point you have next options if you want to continue using Sandboxie: download and install Sandboxie 5.33.6, last version released by Sophos which is free and doesn't require license but is outdated and contains serious security issues or download and install David's fork.

What exactly are the security issues?

Surely not a good idea to publish in a public forum! Many people are still using it.

But isn't that what Wilders is all about, talking about VERY SPECIFIC security issues so that we can overcome them?

Ask to David in private. At the moment security issues are undisclosed due too many people still use Sophos releases.

Could someone point me to the binary download for Tom's build for 64 bit windows 10? I looked in github and it seems to be just source files.

The following comment by @Buster_BSA himself may be useful though it is already from July. Perhaps Buster_BSA can clarify if it is still valid or if the security situation got worse in the meantime.

Tom has never released any builds.

So you must choose old Sophos binaries or Myne, there is no third option.

Regarding these security issues, are you saying using 5.33.6 would be worse than not using sandboxie at all. I have not really been following either threads on S.B , but I'm not keen on using the fork version while it's still getting FP's from AV programs, is this still the case, thanks in advance

Of course not. For normal browsing and trustable programs installation 5.33.6 is still a very valid option.
