    OK, now I get it. So this list is handy when you're planing to use Vivaldi's built-in adblocker together with uBlock. And BTW, a strange thing happened, after Vivaldi crashed, I can all of a sudden install uBlock Origin again directly via the Chrome Web Store. Before this crash it refused to install correctly, computers are pretty weird aren't they?

    I prefer:

    Code:
    HTTP://*^$third-party,~image,~stylesheet,~media
    I also block third party remote fonts:

    Code:
    *$font,third-party
    Google ads:

    Code:
    google.*##div[jsname="XKSfm"][jsaction="dBhwS:TvD9Pc;mLt3mc"]
    google.*##html:style(overflow: visible !important;)
    google.*##.widget-consent-fullscreen.widget-consent
    to remove the Frogeye list:

    Code:
    /id?d_visid_ver=$~xmlhttprequest
    /id?d_visid_
    The TDLs you entered, if you took them where you wrote, are probably too aggressive for example they prevent the use of some image hosts, etc:

    Code:
    ||*.bid^$all
    ||*.buzz^$all
    ||*.club^$all
    ||*.country^$all
    ||*.date^$all
    ||*.download^$all

    I prefer to use Noscript and therefore not allow all the domains I use indiscriminately as it is written in the thread you read.

    It's weird when I try adding the ",~media" part to HTTP://*^$third-party,~image,~stylesheet 'My Filters' count drops to 40/40 from 41/41. As soon as I remove it, back to 41/41?

    I deleted the 1Hosts mini list.
    It has reached almost 45,000 rules, which are too many for me
    This list has 4 tags:

    • Ads
    • Crypto
    • Malware
    • Privacy

    There is no need for the Crypto functionality because it is in the built-in lists.
    To replace the Malware functionality I re-entered the default list.
    To replace the Ads and Privacy features, I replaced the top500 list with the complete Kees one.
    Also in Custom I also have AdGuard Tracking Protection Plus list.
    I also re-entered the Phishing Army list.

    In this way I have a lower total number of network and cosmetic filters:

    57093 + 39765

    and more protection:

    100.JPG
    100a.JPG

    P.S. I remind members of W. that my browser does not have malware and phishing protection features.

    P.S.1

    I deleted Fanboy's Tracking Protection List.
    I needed it for a single website.
    Which is now covered by the newly added lists.

    I replaced the adGuard Annoyances list with AdGuard Annoyances filter (Optimized).

    The rule:

    Code:
    /id?d_visid_

    was recently added to:
    AdGuard Tracking Protection Plus list.

    Instead the rule:

    Code:
    /b/ss/*&aqe=
    is inserted in:

    AdGuard Tracking Protection list.

    These only 2 rules/lists, according to Yuki's declarations, allow a 90% effective CNAME block.

    I found two good filters on a site that i use to block out the right side of the screen on Twitter, like Who to follow and Trending.

    Check your filter lists.
    Disable one for one the ones that are not default.
    I have no anti-adblock message, that's why I think it's one of your filters triggering it.

    I would like to ask MSFN members, to test below, with firefox based browsers (Even better with Pale Moon):

    https://translate.google.it/

    The purpose of the test is to check if the pop-up before you continue sign in, appears even with Google ads filters.

    With my NM28 the pop-up appears even though I have found a way to make it disappear.
    The pop up does not appear the Google translate in English.
    TH.

    _________________________________________________________

    P.S.
    I did some cleaning in the rules inserted in "My filters".
    I'm now,only 41 rules used.

    54.811 network filters + 26.660 cosmetic filters

    P.S.1

    I also noticed that the list:

    "Most prevalent advertising and tracking networks in Western Europe and North American websites based on annual web-tech surveys"

    was not updated.
    It is possible to force the update by purge all caches.
    It is also possible to click with the mouse on the clock icon of the single list.
    But it is better to force manual updating for the other lists as well.

    Check if your list is still blocked of 2020.11.23 there is an update to 2020.11.27.

    Thanks for your test.
    Unfortunately I am forced to block gstatic.com to prevent the pop up:

    There is an update 2020.11.30.
    But unfortunately no notification in my UbO Legacy.
    No update notification even in Chrome OS W.10:

    No,you see that the English language translator works:

    100a.JPG

    My problem is that with so little data I am unable to detect which component (UBO Legacy, browser, my very protective settings .....) is responsible, to make a bug report.
    I would be led to think that UBO Legacy does not separate google.it from gstatic.com.
    But mine is just a guess in the absence of other verifications.

    now i see, you wrote about the google translator, not cnbc (Rasheed), yes gstatic is vital for that page, dont block it. (i do not block it anywhere /in browser/ because there is no reason here). but there exist several entries in hosts file with dubious cryptic subdomains.

    Thanks, it was caused by "Peter Lowe's Ad and tracking server list". But what if I want to continue using this filter, is it possible to block it in a different way via uBlock?

    Rasheed, I've created user rules via the Element Picker. Maybe this would work for you on that cnbc site.

    Okay, please bear with me...I was on a doctors site and originally I assumed my dynamic filtering was blocking google maps (when I try incognito mode in Chrome it works since no extensions are active) so I eventually played around with the logger and I know it's a 3rd party frame...I have tried everything and it still won't show the dang embedded google maps!

    I have cleared my chrome cache, cookies, etc. then tried it again, and still no luck :(

    Code:
    https://www.healthcare4ppl.com/physician/florida/tampa/sara-nicole-hughes-1700252996.html
    images showing what I have tried...
