I think there is a misunderstanding, I meant 'Windows Insider Program' which has nothing to do with SD. I was able to have Win 10 version 20H2 before the actual official release and therefore I can state that on my machine, after a few weeks with 20H2, SD v. 1.5.0.726 had no issues, and I use it all the time.

It just addressed an installation problem with WinXP. Otherwise they are functionally equal.

SSL means nothing for downloads. SSL is important when transferring personal data.
people are not able to install this giveaway any longer

Cosmetic issue coming out of shadow mode -
Before shadow mode - Network Icon reports Internet access
    png_8021.png png_8022.png
Machine restart out of shadow mode - Network Icon reports No Internet access
    png_8019.png png_8020.png
Note: Network still has Net access -
Machine restart &or cold start do not sort Network Icon cosmetic issue.
I need to Uninstall Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller with machine restart to return Network Icon report Internet access.
    png_8024.png
I think (not sure) Network Icon cosmetic issue is since Win10 2004 (19041.572).
    Fast Startup Off.

    Thanks
I allowed (for curiosity - not expecting Network Icon fix) Dell Support Tool to install a few updates (not Realtek) and ran Dell Support Tool housekeeping.
Network Icon appears to be behaving, at this time.

    Hi Came,

I saw your post and just wanted to let you know that I have been downloading (and installing) SD versions from that (official) SD website over several years without any security issues whatsoever. Also, i would be happy to answer any SD questions you may have (if I can).

Quick question as I see Shadow Defender Pro 2019 advertised for 3 pc's at a great price. Will this update to the latest and what should I be looking out for if this price seems too good to be true?

I think I see the offer you refer to. The price sounds indeed good but I would be careful. It's beginning with the naming: It exists neither a "Shadow Defender Pro" nor a "Shadow Defender Pro 2019" as it is called in this offer. Then it will be a download. Do you know from which source?

Personally I would prefer to buy directly from the Shadow Defender homepage.

Yes, right, in the offer it is "2019 Pro" and not "Pro 2019" (I have taken it in this order from your above posting :p ). But in essence it makes no difference. "Pro" usually refers to some type of "Professional Version" (in contrast with some "Standard Version" or something similar). But Shadow Defender does not have such a distinction. There is only one type of product.
