I have 28 days left and Kaspersky wants me to renew. Will i lose the 28 days or will it be added on to the renewal.
"If you renew the subscription on your existing product, you will not lose remaining days on your old subscription. However, you will receive a new license, subscription and activation code (also called license key). Your new activation code will automatically load the additional days left from your old subscription." https://usa.kaspersky.com/renewal-upgrade-faq
From my experience this is only true if you renew your current license. If you activate a new different license you bought from let's say Amazon for example, you will lose the rest of your existing license. From that same page, and I know this applies to switching products, but in the past it also applied to licenses purchased elsewhere: I hope this has changed but I do not expect that it has.
I went to my kaspersky and see my new license there but it is not active. Will it become activated after the last day of my active license in 28 days.
Is it OK to change the default AMSI Protection Settings. The scan archives and scan installation packages are not checked in default setting.
