    Hi,
    Please download a file via:https://www.wisevector.com/WiseVector_fix.zip ->unzip the file (WiseVectorHelperThree.dll)->exit WVSX->replace the file with the same name in the WiseVector StopX installation folder->start WVSX->enable "Scan on file creation"->run PrivaZer as usual->observe whether the issue will appear again or not.
    Thanks a lot!

    Did as you suggested but I am currently running PrivaZer on that machine now and I can already see a second tray icon. Issue not fixed.

    Should I reinstall WVSX to restore the original .dll? I probably should have kept a copy.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for your patience and help!
    I think no need to reinstall WVSX to restore the original file at present, since the issue is still not fixed and we would like to send you another file to have a try.
    Can you please check your email again?

    I use always LUA - limited user account (i.e. normal user without admin privileges). I noticed today that I am still running 2.0 even though the latest version is 2.6 (over 200 days without updating). It seems that WV can update only on admin account - is it so?

    @WiseVector -- 2 questions:

    1-Do you have an estimated date when the paid version of WiseVector might go into beta testing?

    2-What is the "StopX part of WV's name referring to? Is it possibly based on "X=Unknown"?

    Hi,
    Sorry, V2.0 is a very old version, which cannot update to the latest version automatically. Please download V2.67 through: https://update2.wisevector.com/WiseVector_StopX.exe
    and perform an overwrite installation.

    Hi,
    1. We are working on Network Protection and some new features these days. After they are completed, we would like to release a beta version for testing and the paid version will follow.
    2. X=Threats ( known and unknown);) About 15 years ago, one of our principal developers used a product named " Prevx" and liked it. This is the inspiration to name our own product.

    @WiseVector- Thanks and appreciations!

    Continued success with this program and looking forward to helping improve accuracy when your development team release Network Protection addition.

    As mentioned many memberships used Prevx before. Naming convention for WVSX is ideal choice.

    Prevx 2005 version before it became a Cloud Anti-Malware which it turned into Webroot SecureAnywhere. https://uk.pcmag.com/antivirus/26113/prevx-pro-2005

    I used both the the Prevx HIPS and Prevx cloud. The tests I performed for the cloud version. It took some time before the cloud version became effective. Some examples:
