    Hi,
There would be no conflict when running WVSX and MS Defender together.
But once malware have been detected by Defender, other security programs cannot access to the malware anymore, it looks like WVSX doesn't work in this case.

Our pleasure! We always want to have WVSX improved. Very glad to hear that our users try to test it with a variety of malware samples.
    Thanks for your help!;)

WVSX slows or stalls PrivaZer. Normally PrivaZer runs quite quickly on this machine but after an hour it hadn't finished today. As soon as I exited WVSX PrivaZer ran through and finished.

I might remind the dev that I found a small army of WVSX bots once before while running PrivaZer.

Have you tried making exclusion for privazer?

    No.

I have made exclusions for WVSX in my AV, but why would exclude PrivaZer in WVSX? That sounds like a weird way to make an AV behave on my machine, and if that's required... bye bye WVSX.

    Thanks for your feedback.
Did you download PrivaZer via its offical site or other site? What's your OS?
We would like to test it with the same OS as yours.

Actually, the donor version auto updates, but yes, it originally downloaded direct from their website.
    Win10 x64 2004 OS Build 19041.508.

    Cheers.

The developer of PrivaZer is also active on this site: @The_PrivaZer_Team
Maybe you can work together on this issue?

    Hi,
We can hardly visit the website.
Can you please report the suspected FP through WVSX, so we can do an analysis and resovle it soon. If the files are over 20M, can you please send them in a pack by email to virus@wisevector.com.
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks! We would like to test it first, and then contact them if we need to.

Been AV free for years on my rigs with only third party defenses. Minimal resource/memory usage is of importance

Thanks for weighing in with your own rig's energy result with Wise Vector Stop X. It is remarkably light

It could be just my machines then. I'll try again later and see what happens, but I thought it odd before when I seen numerous little WVSX bots in my tray.

It's one of the program update servers that WiseVector uses. You may also see a connection to Singapore (a second program update server).

I just ran PrivaZer again on this machine. The clean up was progressing as normal until it got to cleaning MFT (Master File Table) entries, at which point cleaning stopped. I exited WVSX and just as before the cleaning started again. next I re-opened WVSX and same again, the cleaning stopped. Exited WVSX and the cleaning ran through to completion.

For some reason there is some conflict on my machines. No army of bots this time though.

    @WiseVector ,

Please let me know if you need any more information.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for keeping me posted.
We have reproduced this issue in Win10 x64 2004. When PrivaZer is cleaning MFT entries, it will launch numerous of Robocopy.exe, which would be a little problem for WVSX's behavior analysis module. We have resolved this issue. :D
