Evidently "this thing" is not a popular security app at Wilders. In nearly 2 1/2 years since your post on Oct. 6, 2017, no one has answered your question. Ergo, I shall ask.............

Q1 Is anyone using this app?
Q2 If so, what does it do & is it any good?

Hi Bellgamin, I am using it for many years and it still has it purpose, you know that the popularity of a tool doesn't always say something about the quality.
I would recommend you to test it once, or use it once on a infected system to say what it is capable of.

Thanks for the input but I need more information than that before spending $40 for a security app that doesn't participate in formal testing. Besides, Greatis.com only offers a "lifetime license" for Unhackme. I wonder: whose lifetime? In my experience, "lifetime" turns out to be either the duration of the product's economic viability, OR the seller's lifetime, but NEVER the user's lifetime.

Ough, after about seven or eight years ESET has suddenly decided to flag an old installer of RegRun as PUA. After all those years?! Really?!
    Files:
    regrunplat_paid.zip » ZIP » regrunplat!.exe » INNO » {app}\Unhackme.exe - a variant of Win32/Unhackme.A potentially unwanted application

I have those old installer files for years and years on my system.

You want to see some checksums, here you go:
The file ... \regrunplat_paid.zip has the following Checksum(s)
    MD5 - 934110FA8315D61F57C4901F041ECB39
    SHA-160 - 556D238C06F1C3C217CD48DE64B0795F061F39CC
    SHA-256 - C81028546125D7FC2809B06C6ED297CDC3069F60D0ED8C5EBA5A6D4C1C09B316

The file ... \regrunplat_paid\regrunplat!.exe has the following Checksum(s)
    MD5 - 5EF0D802A42ED1F0F063473C88560043
    SHA-160 - ACE7318AE88435E4EF7276E289B11C50BC016A10
    SHA-256 - 2D785FF9036336382285DC6021DE34B4796E0FBBE70D195C587B02A496DB1C47

I'll try to get in contact with Dmitry.

I've scanned that installer file regrunplat!.exe at VT : 1/69
Only Eset gives a (PUA) warning.

I've tried to get in contact with Dmitry. Maybe he will reply after the weekend (I don't know).

I have heard back from Dmitry. He has contacted Eset, but so far (as far as I understand) no reply from them.
It's up to Eset to explain why this suddenly happened after all those years.

    Hi,

Seems like I really need help!

    The problem is not solved.
I did not receive a response from ESET why they flagged UnHackMe as PUA.
There is one antivirus company that didn't answer anything.

I send files by e-mail to samples@eset.com, vendorcomplaints@eset.com every week with no luck.
In addition, I use the Eset trial version and send files using NOD32 software.
I have the registered cases in their technical support, but even the ESET support team cannot receive a reply from their antivirus lab.

I asked on the forum but received a reply that this is a not place for disputing detection.
    But where is this place?

UnHackMe never uses bundles or aggressive monetization.
I released 5 updated versions to make it better.
The problem in ESET is that it downs the reputation of the file and other AV begin to detect it too.

    Any help is really appreciated!
    Thank you!
    Dmitry

Hello, I guess your program has registry cleaning capabilities (forgive me if I'm wrong), I believe that could be the reason for being flagged as PUA. As far as I know they use a third party service for PUA detection so they're not very responsive about such cases as they do not handle them themself.
Me too I believe that PUA detection is quite too aggressive.

    UnHackMe is a rootkit/malware cleaner.
It is not a registry cleaner.

    Hi All,

    We released UnHackMe 11.90.990 today!
I found that ESET removed their detect:
    https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/09f20668dcef3bf1b724d7d07ff707518096039b385463a08e2d1f30e613c160/detection

    Anyone can help with Rising?
Rising is active only in China.
All submissions to http://mailcenter.rising.com.cn/filecheck_en are not checked.

They have a forum in China:
    http://bbs.ikaka.com/showtopic-8575573-156.aspx
But it requires China phone for registration.
I wandered why Virustotal includes such engines.
