Generally when installing software; Is it better to install on the Admin Account or a secondary account?

if software need admin credentials it will ask for it. in most cases when software is for all it will do. but when you deny UAC access then it goes user account - like other installations which dont need or want admin credentials. at least i would say its all on you but you should leave it as software requests.

If it is software that requires administrative access to install it does not matter as you will have to elevate it anyway and it will be available to all users.

If it only requires local user privilege than it does not matter as it has no access to anything restricted. In that case you would need to be logged into the same account you installed it from to use it.
