I think the best thing we can do to securely delete the content of Sandboxie when closing would be to provide you with a specific command line that you could add to Sandboxie : something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\PrivaZer\PrivaZer.exe" DELETE "%SANDBOX%" (path corrected thanks to @Somebody111) (EDITED : path fixed)
@zmechys, that was a proposal. I think we can have it implemented in the next release of PrivaZer. OK?
Exactly what I use now and have for years with Sandboxie though with Eraser command-line. Guaranteed to work! Thanks @The_PrivaZer_Team If it helps: Example
@zmechys, @EASTER, I can now confirm, you will have it in the next release with a command line using PrivaZer
As a dedicated Sandboxie user, I can definitely use and appreciate this proposed feature built into PrivaZer.
@plat1098, @EASTER, @zmechys, job done, as promised, v4.0.7 just released with the support of Sandboxie to get it securely erased when closed. Command line to add in Sandboxie : "C:\Program Files (x86)\PrivaZer\PrivaZer.exe" DELETE "%SANDBOX%" (path corrected thanks to @Somebody111) It works also with the protable version of PrivaZer : "your path\PrivaZer.exe" DELETE "%SANDBOX%"

Thank you for your efforts. To my regret, it does not work. I get the same "... no path found". Most probably, some typing error on my part.
Hello, I'm new here and first send a greeting to the group. Please excuse my bad english. Nice new feature. This is only a Typing mistake, but also on the website (changelog). The install-path of PrivaZer is normally "C:\Program Files (x86)\PrivaZer" ["%ProgramFiles(x86)%\PrivaZer"] Therefore, the call must also be made in this directory. "C:\Program Files (x86)\PrivaZer\PrivaZer.exe" or "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\PrivaZer\PrivaZer.exe" Quotation marks "" are required because of the spaces in the path. This could be simplified by an own (e.g. PrivaZerHome=%ProgramFiles(x86)%\PrivaZer) or variable in the PATH [set path=%path%;%ProgramFiles(x86)%\PrivaZer] during installation - then only "PrivaZer.exe" would be required. Greatings Somebody111
Will do thanks. I forgot the subdirectory. Thanks for your help @Somebody111 Right path for Sandboxie is : "C:\Program Files (x86)\PrivaZer \PrivaZer.exe" DELETE "%SANDBOX%"
It seems I can't add the contents of the Software Distribution folder in C:/Windows. PrivaZer removes some folders in there but not all of them, and those remnants are likewise folders, not files w/extensions. So including them doesn't seem possible. Does anyone know how to include the Software Distribution folder into the PrivaZer interface? It can accumulate 150 MB and up so if one has a little Windows drive, it can be worth it. .If I delete the contents manually, then PrivaZer deletes them from the Recycle Bin. So if no resolution, this is definitely OK instead.
Yes it is. The right path to enter in Sandboxie is : "C:\Program Files (x86)\PrivaZer \PrivaZer.exe" DELETE "%SANDBOX%" But it depends where you installed PrivaZer on your PC and if you have a 32bit version of Windows. In case of a 32bit version the path would be : "C:\Program Files\PrivaZer \PrivaZer.exe" DELETE "%SANDBOX%" (Do not use /DELETE but DELETE)
@The_PrivaZer_Team i gave privzr a try yesterday only to find that you can't specify (sub)folders to be excluded from deletion.
Hello @imdb, You can exclude a folder in the "Advanced options" of PrivaZer. A sub folder is a folder, no?
If you exclude a folder in PrivaZer, it will exclude the files in the folder and all subfolders and files in them. OK?
