    New final UBO Filter Lists.
I have decreased the Cosmetic filters to increase the performance in my old PC/Browser.
I also replaced Fanboy's Annoyance with Adguard Annoyances which blocks multiple elements on the various websites I frequent:

EDIT: for me old lists were not removed but instead moved to custom section.

That's correct. The go to custom. If you hadn't checked them before they were removed.
Now in custom you can decide for yourself what to do. Keep or delete them.

Malware lists update does not work with UBO Legacy.
    Just Off must be notified.
    I'm at the sea.......:D
Could you do it, in the Pale Moon forum?

Now I will keep an eye on the Spam404 list...
    Last modified: 20 May 2020

My suggestion in this case would probably be:
    Code:
    https://phishing.army/download/phishing_army_blocklist_extended.txt
    https://phishing.army

Even the only phishing list that is "Spam404" is less performing than Phishing Army.
Raymond Hill should make the replacement.

    P.S.

uBlock Origin phishing block, goes into action after DNS phishing blocks and Google Safe Browsing.
In this case, which in my opinion involves the majority of users, there is not much difference in using the extended list.

It would be more appropriate to insert by default "Phishing Army" which has fewer rules.
If the user prefers to adopt the other custom list, he already has the base list input.

I'll wait for a while, for I think he will soon find out himself.
Besides you can manually make the necessary changes in uBO.

    [EDIT]
JustOff has already committed a change to uBO Legacy.
    https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock-for-firefox-legacy/commit/ef25eaa7c72a07c5a68454a6dd5f9f1927168e3f

I'm always a bit careful posting something on that forum.
A post of mine was once deleted by one of these crazy moderators there, for being a bit off topic.
    Even got an official warning.
    Go figure...

You are right about Google Safe Browsing, however not everyone has that enabled for privacy reasons.
And in Pale Moon it isn't even an option.

    PS,
Enjoy your stay at the see!
Here in The Netherlands it's to cold at the moment (16°C)...

I started doing my tests with:

    EasyList (Optimized)
    EasyPrivacy (Optimized)

    @Gandalf_The_Grey

It is a mistake to replace the Adguard lists with the optimized version because the rules are specific to adguard and not to UBO.

I already made an edit to my earlier post, before you saw it was implemented.
Just checked in Pale Moon and it works.

    PS,
34.8°C is to much for me.

    @Sampei Nihira I don't think there is a problem.
AdGuard made those lists with uBlock Origin in mind.
The normal Annoyances filter (built-in in uBlock Origin) is https://filters.adtidy.org/extension/ublock/filters/14.txt
    The optimized is: https://filters.adtidy.org/extension/ublock/filters/14_optimized.txt

The horrible blue arrow is the default List,is OK.
The horrible red arrow is you use, the syntax of the rules is not specific to UBO.

Okay, thank you. I understand it better now.
Optimized still works, but it's better to use not optimized the version with uBlock Origin Static Syntax.
The built-in uBlock Origin should be the same?

acid, you should ditch "optimized" lists and use ubo lists instead, as noted by @Sampei Nihira and @Gandalf_The_Grey.

there's no such list. each to their own. only you can decide what's best for you.
i recommend you use ubo in medium mode with default filter lists, i.e. no custom filters.
