Windows 10 Announced - Released 29-Jul-2015

    Thanks Brian for the heads-up. Looks like the first thing I'm going to do is to disable Reserved Storage after a fresh install of 2004

    If you check your partitions with Treesize, with and without the 7 GB of Reserved Storage, the folder sizes are the same. The 7 GB is hidden from Treesize. For what I do with partitions, it's dangerous. For folks who don't shrink partitions it could be a good idea to prevent the OS partition from filling up.

    I've been reading a bit about Reserved Storage, and they say that it will make all future updates more reliable.
    It seems to me that it's a reliability feature. If that is true, then I'm all for that. Storage is cheap.

    My take on Reserved Storage is it prevents computers from having too little Free Space to allow a Win10 upgrade. Did you read about reliability?
