2004 came through on a computer via Windows Update that I forced the update on the other day and had to restore an image.
But it works via Windows Update. Strange.

I ran disk cleanup after update and it showed that 2.1 GB of data will be removed, but around 1 GB was then actually removed.

Well, that was fairly painless, at least so far. Being a dual-boot machine I had to baby-sit it while it was upgrading so that it would boot into Windows, other than that all seems well. OneDrive was reinstalled so I uninstalled that again.

Can't really see any difference to 1909 though.

On my work computer I got 2004 upgrade offered today. It seems that I can't install June update for 1909 unless I first install this upgrade. Is this the way it works? Upgrade is blocking security update until it is installed?

No, not on my machine. I installed June updates before upgrading to 2004.

Yes, I think the Disk Cleanup utility has been pretty erratic as of lately, I only hope it is about a counting error and nothing more serious.

Do you have System Restore enabled? Maybe it archived some of that into a restore point.

Yes, that one not works for anyone because is a broken link.
With my previous post (#6094), what I'm trying to say is that Trooper uses a wrong link, not the one that I posted in #6076.

In case it helps anyone else ...

My Dell XPS 13 Win 10 Home v1909 offered 2004 via WU.

But no go, after 'Getting things ready' at 95%, via WU:
'This PC can't run Windows 10
We couldn't update the System Reserved Partition'
... and it later shows it failed with an error 0x8024205

If I try Windows Update Assistant, I essentially get the same error
    -- shows error 0xc1900201.

    MCT ISO doesn't work either.

This is a GPT / UEFI machine, not MBR, so has no System Reserved Partition - only an EFI System Partition.

However, FWIW solution found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-za...m-reserved-partition-error-installing-windows
This took my ESP Free Space from 14 MiB to 27 MiB.
Historic because I think it's the first time an MS solution has helped me.

    Another mystery:
On that machine I have two instances of Win 10 (booted via Terabyte Bootit-UEFI), one with quite a bit of software, the other almost bare Windows.
Update so far only offered on former. Same hardware / firmware, same Windows.
