    I must say though I am not too keen on some of the google ads on VB100 site

    Hm, I don't see anything to do with Google on the VB100 site.

    Went to main page and then through several pages, grumbling - what ads, I can't see any ads, back to your post, on the left... Damn they are so effective I'll have to buy something ;) :D

    Nope, not a hint of an ad by google here, left, right, centre or anywhere, not even when using IE.

    Okay, if I disable my HOSTS file I can see the ads in IE, but not in Mozilla. Which is precisely why I use a comprehensive HOSTS file and Mozilla :)

    Add pagead2.googlesyndication.com to blocked sites (in your firewall/browser/ad blocker) ;)
