    I don't remember, perhaps one of our forum members could enlighten me. If the COVID-19 Could Provide Cover for Domestic Surveillance Expansion did we face this same possibility during the 2009-10 (H1N1pdm09 virus) Swine Flu Pandemic? And, if so, what steps were taken then?

    The Apple | Google API is just the first step to get us used to it. Then more things will come. They are actually going to be baking this into the OS itself. For now participation is voluntary... Time to learn to root.

    First iPhone was released in 2007. First Android-powered smartphone was released in 2008. Simply put smartphone and mobile Internet usage and dependency wasn't that widespread.
