    Anyone using Avira + Malwarebytes?

    Any issue or slow down?

Avira Pro (real-time) & Malwarebytes Premium (on-demand) & MBAE Premium (real-time), no problems.

I did the same thing. Avira Prime + Malwarebytes Premium Real-Time.

I hope, things will go smoothly without any slowdown system speed.

What do you hope to achieve bundling a prime software (Avira with 100% detection rate) with Malwarebytes which barely pass 60% marko_O?

No antivirus has 100% detection rate. Malwarebytes is excellent for finding things that antiviruses miss.

But I am feeling little slow with Malwarebytes.

    As it is enabled Real-Time.

I have been using Malwarebytes Pro for 5 years on 3 different computers (myself, wife daughter) . Never ever has this software detected anything significant before the main antivirus I am using.
Most of the detections are FP (websites or machine learning 100%!!)

I uninstalled it and using Defender on Win 10 + BitDefender traffic light +uBlock origin on Firefox.

I think Malwarebytes real time is not needed with Avira. You can use it as a scanner every other month or so, but as already mentioned it is probably a waste of time. Malwarebytes is a good cleaner of very infected systems, a condition that will never happen with a good AV.

I would suggest to use Sandboxie instead (it's completely free, it has a bit of a learning curve, nothing too convoluted though) or Shadow Defender (it creates a virtual session which is completely deleted by rebooting the computer, very easy to use, not free though, but reasonably cheap). Finally a good working backup/imaging program is a must have for any sort of contingency (many of them have free versions that are very reliable).

Sandboxie or Shadow Defender with Avira will make your system almost impossible to infect, and no slowdowns + a good imaging program will give you absolute peace of mind.

This is the "new" Avira interface: small +++ around various selections.
Seems to be designed by a mentally challenged child....

Tested this version on Win 10 /64.

    Surprising good.
    1. insignificant impact on browsing
    2. fast boot and log off
    3. detecting nested ZIP files upon download ( big plus!!!) ; detecting even 4zip files.

Using it with FF , ublock origin and BD trafic light ( Web protection disabled in Avira)

    Bought 2 licenses!

I'm saying nothing. Just I brought to your attention what an expert said.
