    It's seems like the Devs are creating solutions for nonexistent problems. I wonder who comes up with these ideas and why?

    Probably the same people that came up with things like Firefox OS. They didn't come up with this stuff by asking me. :doubt:

    i probably found the switch you need:

    browser.urlbar.openViewOnFocus

    set to false if you are bored about showing the dropdown when clicking into address bar.
    anybody is invited to work on features. just use it.

    That the type of thing I am hating about Firefox. Another distraction. I totally agree with you, I wont like it either and will find out how to get rid of it before is implemented. Myself, I go overboard not to hate or even use the word hate in forums like this one, but with Firefox is becoming very hard to find a better word, another word that expresses my true feelings about the path Mozilla has taken for Firefox. If I used another word, I would be disguising my true feelings, I would be lying.

    FYI. Firefox 76.0 Beta 1 released April 7, 2020. Available via Internal Updater (19.8 MB - 64-bit).

    The Firefox Beta page's Download button downloads Firefox Installer.exe (312 KB).
    Choose which Firefox Browser to download in your language.

    Also, Firefox 76 for Developers
    Firefox 76 Site Compatibility.
