I've written a long, detailed review of Peppermint OS 10, an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution with Xfce desktop, tested in a multi-boot Windows-and-Linux setup on a laptop with Intel graphics, UEFI, GPT and 16 partitions, covering live testing, installation, and post-install usage, including look and feel, fonts and contrast, network connectivity - Wireless, Bluetooth, Samba, printing, multimedia - HD video and MP3 playback, smartphone support - Android and iPhone, partitioning, package management and updates, applications and extras, browser management, single-specific browsing management, hardware compatibility and stability, suspend & resume, performance, responsiveness, battery life, difficult customization, tons of bugs and inconsistencies, other observations, and more. Take a look.

The two original founders of Peppermint OS are no longer in the project.
    May this explains that?

Shane Remington - Co-founder & former COO of Peppermint OS, LLC - Shane is no longer with the project but as a co-founder and great supporter of the project is (along with Kendall) always on hand offering much appreciated guidance and assistance in the background .. Thanks Shane. Twitter | LinkedIn

Kendall Weaver - Co-founder & former CTO of Peppermint OS, LLC - Kendall is no longer with the project but still assists with application development whenever possible. Peppermint and Ice would never have existed but for his (and Shane's) vision and expertise .. Thanks Kendall. Twitter

I can't even access their site. Apparently their certificate expired 9 days ago.
