In the summary of changes I see "Improved Registry cleaning." Anti-malware that cleans the registry -- that's an odd combination, isn't it? Does it also include any other stuff having nothing whatsoever to do with "anti-malware"?

I'm sorry for the rant but I'm getting weary of security apps that are morphing into do-all tools -- like if someone offered to sell me a tool that is a GPS/broom/shovel/cigarette lighter. o_O

Antimalware can clean registry. For example with Malwarebytes, it can detect Iobit registry keys

    Registry Keys: 2
    PUP.Optional.AdvanceSystemCare, HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432NODE\MICROSOFT\TRACING\ASC_RASAPI32, Quarantined, [563cd2f53b6dca6c0e4293d2867a3dc3],
    PUP.Optional.AdvanceSystemCare, HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432NODE\MICROSOFT\TRACING\ASC_RASMANCS, Quarantined, [9ef410b72385de58a9a772f321df9a66],

But that's not the case here. It actually includes a registry cleaner.

I haven't used recent versions, but there have only been minor changes. As you can see at the following link.
    https://www.wisecleaner.com/blog_sort_23.html
The first version was 2.11 and the current version is 2.21. If they ever release a version 3, it should include more significant changes.

It may have some use as second opinion scanner because it uses Avira signatures. However, it would be terrible as primary antivirus.

If you have never used it, You've done absolutely right. Never use it also in the future, better not even try.
Take this simply like a friendly suggestion. But if You've immense curiosity, then of course try.

Considering that they claim it works 100% fine with Windows Defender, it might be worth using it as an additional tool along with Defender.

I downloaded this today to give it a try,but i agree with the other comments that i dont really want to see registry cleaners etc in an antimalware program. After download quick check is run which includes privacy risks and adware detection which is all fine, what is not required is the temporary files, browser cache and registry entries.

As for the actual malware scanner (which is broken down into seven separate entries) although there is no timer shown it has been running for around two hours and still it is scanning !,the progress bar seems to indicate it is three quarters of the way done, this seems far to long for any kind of scan.It is All Files which is taking the biggest delay, but as there seems no way to select or deselect each section i dont think i would be running this scan again as this is by far the longest scan of any anti malware scanner i have used.

Still to be run is System Cleaner and Adware Cleaner but how much longer i have to wait to get scanning these is anyone's guess.
