Rest in eternal tranquility, Peter. Your first interaction with me was five years ago in the HitmanPro.Alert thread and you've suffered my presence with admirable restraint ever since.

    Bye.

This is truly sad news. Peter was always a great help on the forums and to me personally. We had a lot of discussions regarding AppGuard over the years. I had been meaning to follow up with him but have not had much time. Now I wish that I had.

My God bless your family during this painful time. Peter you are in a better place now. See you again someday my friend.

Wow, I guess it was quite sudden or unexpected since he was still posting on the 14th. Sad to hear this.

Oh, my! Also my deepest condolences to his loved ones. I will truely miss the "sparring conversations" I had on occasion with him. Also as others have posted, his I.T. knowledge will be sorely missed in the forum.

Like Froggie, I had the honor and privilege of speaking with Peter via telephone back in 2016. (I still have the conversation or series of PM's regarding this. I will treasure it.) It was back in the day of AX64. At the time, I was an avid supporter of AX64, but was becoming increasingly concerned about it. Peter helped guide me in starting to use Macrium Reflect and Drive Snapshot. I will forever be grateful for his assistance over the telephone, via PM's, and through this forum. He will be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with his family!

Wow, this is a shocker! I haven't been following Wilders very closely lately, and now I log on, only to see that our dear, good friend has passed away.
I was very friendly and admirable of Peter, on this and several other forums. I worked with him on beta projects. He was a unique and irreplaceable personality. The world will never be the same without him.

That is very sad news indeed, but I hope he had a long and happy life, and didn't have to suffer lengthy poor health or the like.
God bless him eternally, may he rest in peace.

So sad to hear. He has been very helpful here on the forum for the almost two decades I've been here.. I have learned alot from him. Especially about imaging software, and of course the original FirstdefenseISR which we loved. May he rest in peace.

When I think of this forum I think of Pete actually, since it was him who I talked to quite a bit there in the early days when I first joined. He helped me out alot and I always enjoyed our exchanges. The forum loses a true asset with his passing

This really hurts. He was my "go to" guy whenever I got into computer trouble always willing to help, and I don't even need to mention his backup/recovery knowledge.
    Rest in peace my friend,
    Acadia

I am reminded of a phrase quoted in a "Hud" movie with Paul Newman.
A priest comforts Hud's grandson over the loss of his grandfather.
    He says.
"Don't worry boy, your grandfather has gone to a better World.
    And he replies:

"I don't think father, I don't think the earth is a better place than air."

This phrase always comes back to me with sad news like this.
And I must admit that afterwards I am even more sad...................

In addition to his deep technical knowledge -- generously shared, his eagerness to test new programs for the benefit of us all, and his help and advice frequently and freely given, above all Peter’s posts displayed his decency, his good humor, and his good nature.

If there is a special place in the hereafter for the Good Guys – Peter is there.

    Deeply saddened.
