    Antivirus polls have lost much of their former entertainment value. Despite of this I ask (For the last time?): What FREE antivirus do you prefer?

    Kaspersky. Effective with low false positives.

    Didn't note the "free" qualification since other mentioned Eset.

    No but the poll mentioned Commercial Antivirus which is normally not "Free".

    @itman Thanks!

    It does have a place to select "Commercial antivirus", but if Eset is added then you may as well add all AVs and change the title to "What antivirus do you prefer?"

    USA still the best. But barely.
    I pay. BitDefender Total Security. One of my best decisions.

    I'm using two different paid AV's at the moment but as soon as the licenses expire they will be replaced by Windows Defender.

    How well does it play with other security software? AV:s? VoodooShied? etc.

    Voted "Defender" b/c I can supplement it and manipulate various attributes with group policy and third party tools. I have a small C drive so I decline third party antivirus due to the added bulk.

    Yes, but it doesn't currently register in WSC and GUI doesn't auto-start on a local account.

    Kaspersky and Avast free on some machines and (payed) ESET on others.
