Hmmm... what is the goal of the attacks on Ccleaner, I wonder? To drive customers away from it, perhaps? If so, it kind of seems like the folks who turn away from Ccleaner are having their software choices controlled by the hackers FUD campaign, doesn't it? Just wondering.
Last version = v5.63.7540 (15 Oct 2019) CCleaner normally was updated in monthly basis, now 3 months passed and still silence.
- I know that the good folks at Piriform also want to "give more attention" to their other programs (Speccy, Defraggler, etc)
+1 With default settings in CCleaner, the new Edge not supported yet. If CCleaner needs tricks/hacks/additional settings in order to clean the new Edge, this is another story.
Okay, so basically nothing. What kind of market share does Brave have? Because CCleaner will never support literally every piece of software out there, if it's niche, then it's up to you to create your own rules using Winapp2.ini.
Brave is just a chromium-based browser, so I'd imagine its rules would be similar to that of Google Chrome (and every other chromium-based browsers out there). Privazer supports new browsers in no time.

I just installed the new Edge, but don't see it listed in CCleaner. Maybe if i uninstall CCleaner and then install it again it will pick up Edge or will at the next update of CC.
Thanks for that Krusty. Still waiting over here. Wonder if any other cleaners support the new Edge as of yet. It has been such a long time since CCleaner got updated.
CCleaner totally lost its way when it got bought out. What was once a svelte elegant tool that provided real functionality has turned into a bloated marketing mess. Directionless with no destination in sight.
