It would be good to know if any Wilders members are using this extension, and what their experiences have been?
I'm considering running it as a Chrome extension on one of my 7x64 machines.
    TY

It has excellent protection, detecting more threats than many antivirus solutions web filters, but it has a somewhat high false positive rate and an unacceptably performance hit in my machine.

I've disabled MBBG's Ads/Trackers protection since I already have that covered quite well.
    Thanks for the input, Nightwalker.

Didn't run real good for me, as instability issues cropped up so off it went.

Looks like it is out of beta since september according to a ghacks post. It does not slow me down anymore like it might have before.

    Hello @Dragon1952

Malwarebytes Browser Extension (Beta) became Malwarebytes Browser Guard (Release) on 26-August-2019. To be up-to-date would mean running version 2.1.2 with an update likely to 2.1.3 next week.

I am trying out TunnelBear Blocker chrome extension now instead of Malwarebytes Browser Extension.

it crashes on new version of chrome as we speak, doesn't matter which version of the latest update (ie normal chrome vs canary)

The MBG Project Manager is already looking into this.

Thank you for the heads-up, @lucd
