Some are dated, not all included, shocking some FAV's score low. Methodology criteria, to score not known (starting point), non Wilders members would use, to choose. FROM A WELL KNOWN ORG, that does not accept adverts.

I did mention: dated, low scores, method of scoring, & not Wilders sophisticated!!!!!!

Is this some sort of AV test or something? Why do some AVs have multiple scores? But more importantly, what does any of this have to do with an Apple monitor? I'm confused...

Appears whatever this is was double posted. Columns 4 - 6 are identical to columns 1 - 3.

Appears anything scoring less that 60 was bad.

I also agree that if these are test scores, we need a link to reference what these tests are about.

    Hola Amigos,

Apple I'm confused as well, some products may have been tested on iOS, & reported upon. I did not write, nor participate, in whatever protocol CR chose to use! Also using screen capture tool, I copied what was on the page, & posted no editing. I did see some odd stuff & reported same twice! ALSO my capture shows, normal size, but posting here, it gets "tiny" sorry I do not know how to fix that.

What this is all about is a common starting point for users to choose, anti-malware, software, who tests, not beholden to adverts. Trusted source (hint C R), normal folks (not sophisticated, like Wilders), would choose highest rated, purchase, & be fine, for there usage.

Others may choose high scorers, as a starting point & further compare, before purchasing.

"I also agree that if these are test scores, we need a link to reference what these tests are about." I would agree this or similar forums. Real world is a source you trust (not understanding complex problem) & allow trusted, source to guide. <full article eplainer not posted>

Purchase a TV, none are really (within category) superior, very minor details (perhaps not noticeable to user) tips the scales, giving a higher score to one or the other. Purchases are made by 'trusted' raters.

How about your car, you got to someone you trust or recommended by, were not experts in everything, so a safe trusted (n o adverts) is logical starting point!

If y'all got a better method, for not getting taken, in areas where were not experts, I'm all ears!

For me long time user KIS, recent conflicts, crap tech support ( do to one tech, servicing 5 -6 support calls, same time), decreasing AV Comparatives scores. It might be time to shop around, 1st sniffing point C R, for me, that's where I recommend folks check first, & should not be the sole determining factor.

At your guys level of understanding, you should ask those questions (how etc tested), but that's not how it works.
