Is Zemana fixing false positives in a bit more of a timely manner? I stopped using their beta a long time ago because I would take the time to submit false positive/s and malfunctions, there would be a polite acknowledgement, and literally days later, the same fp would appear during a scan.

I started using Norton Power Eraser on the suggestion of an expert and directly following an Edge.dev browser update, NPE detected several .exe related to that. I submitted 3 reports to Symantec and within four hours got an automated acknowledgement. Within 10 hours the "detections" were gone. Maybe it's because Symantec is bigger? But I'd think: a "smaller product" means greater attention by the smaller staff? At times, it must be interesting to be a fly on the wall at some of these places.

@Hiltihome -- Oddly enough it has been nearly 2 months since ZAM gave me a FP, & it was quickly fixed. I don't have any of the files listed in your screenshot -- I'm running Win7* so maybe that's why the difference.

*I also still run my TRS-80 & Commodore 64 from time to time. And my Betamax still works great. :p

Just scanned with it and it only detected 2 things.

Doubt that OS version have anything to do with it.

You could try to install DeepL, the best translator:
    https://www.deepl.com/translator
    Then do a scan...

I'm a keeper of good old stuff too.

Did they always have a "deep scan" or is that new in this beta?

    Exactly my thoughts.

    "Frech" instead of French.
In German frech means naughty :D

I have decided to try Hitman Pro (for the first time since 2016), but I had to agree to the Eula, which I decided to save a copy of to my laptop. I couldn't get the Hitman Pro executable unless I agreed. [See first screenshot]

Just to check, I decide to scan the file in Zemana, but it failed. I tried it with another virus scanner, and it passed. So, Zemana is a fail.

Does anyone run TinyWall? I whitelisted the .exe from Downloads folder but it fails anyway and there isn't anything else to allow at that point. I want to see if Zemana still flags MSI Afterburner. Submitted fp report many moons ago but they didn't do anything about it last time I checked. As an aside: I'm a new user of TinyWall but I like it!

Haha, yes, in an arch kind of way. :) However, in this context, nah! More like....never mind. :doubt:

would I just dl v3 over top 2 and add my license info or should I uninstall v2?, does it play well with MBAM prem?
