Ok guys ! I need some Help !

I am trying to turn off a service from the Windows PE 10 - Command Prompt
    within the PE Dos Boot.

I have tried several ways to change the REG entry ( .reg File import - .bat file )
    tred to use : reg.exe import "c:\1.reg"
I seems you can run REGEDIT from the command line interface
but when you change something and reboot .. its back to ORG state.
Nothing I do " STICKS " always after reboot its back :(

how do I change something and have it work after boot !

The change you are making is to a RAM-based Windows OS which is created during the PE load... it is not persistant therefore any changes made to it disappear when the RAM-based OS is abandoned.

The changes you are trying to make must be done in the WIM file carried by the PE build... a whole different ballgame than LIVE OS Windows configuration.

    Here is the problem ..
When I try and update windows 10 I get a BLACK screen With Mouse.
I found that one of the windows updates ( 1809 ) was causing this ..
after 5-15 minutes later windows would finally boot ! LOL
I was able to start task manager and get to services and disable app readiness
I found that if i DISABLE : AppReadiness
    net stop AppReadiness
    sc config AppReadiness start=disabled

It would BOOT like normal about 10 secs

I have tried to update to : 1903 several times but get the same BLACK SCREEN with mouse ..
But this time I could not get to task manager or ANY program! ( thank god for Macrium Reflect )

I want to try and disable the service from windows pe and can not get it to stick.
