i use zone alarm extreme security, is there a additional malware/virus checker can use

was wondering for a every now and then scan is there another program i can run my data through to scan for viruses and such? i use the latest zone alarm extreme security

Hitman Pro definity rox
Other interesting scanners can be SecureAPlus or Zemana
You can yet use still MBAM free as o/d scanner but thier ratio is 50/50 (but its only my opinion)

For advanced users. You can make myself manual audit system with some software for monitor network or process/files in system.
I do it from time to time by myself way based on FAQ and TIPS which i follow/ learned from other advaced/profesionals peoples which public guides on netowrk/books etc.

-I make snapshops after:
-1st boot system - Virgin
-After setup and configure most programs which i wanna use most time.
-Current time when i want to check make audit system compare results.

After it i have good reference to compare changes if im not sure and help me sometimes a lot.

Comon software which i use:

SysTracer - Compare Registry windows / files and services.
WinDirStat - Sometimes when i need check again files after systracer
FRST - no need explain all know this tool
AnVir Task Manager/Process Hacker and sometimes Process Explorer(sysinternals) - for check current process and his dll injector/handler
Autoruns - for check common services and other libaries which system try load during startu and not only.
WireShark/Fiddler/Nmap/CurrPorts - to check whats going up on my lan and aurond it

And after it toons debbuger/disambler tools.. all depend in to what i wanna look/throw eye^^
pestudio, hiew etc...

Both are powerful AV scanners. Both are free. Neither will conflict with any other AV app. Both are grrreat!!! What's not to love?
