Thanks, Ultra Male. Backupper just works and works and works, so if Partition Assistant is of the quality, then I'll be a happy chappy.
indeed, Backupper is the only app that is able to clone a USB Flash Disk to another USB Flash disk as well. See: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/guide-how-to-clone-a-usb-flash-drive-to-another-usb-flash-drive.806135/
I purchased a Notebook ( Acer Aspire 3 17" ): it has not DVD device, so I wonder: if I want to use AOMEI Backupper, how can I reinstall an image ?
If the laptop doesn't have a hidden partition with and oem image on it It might You could do it with USB Stick and Aomei Backupper could one not?
AOMEI Backupper runs by an USB Pen ? The laptop has a hidden partition, but I would only a driv e backup of C, so I should be able to reinstall it.
an oem image on the HD hidden if so exists would be as in a new state without your programs apps and settings as far as I know Aomei can do an image to a USB stick, guess you mean pen, which would have your current configuration, and recover that image from USB stick info at the Aomei site on that
Anybody know if Aomei Free Backupper will clone one SSD with the OS(Win10) to a larger SSD or do you need Pro Aomei Thanks much In advance
That is what I originally thought then saw some Aomei features were Pro version highlighted Then looked at Aomei site Brian and it appeared maybe had to buy the pay for I wasn't sure
I just thought that I would share these official free AOMEI offers. The "Get It Now" download links are zip files that contain the installer and a text file with the license code. The text file states the following about the license code.
I used it once to clone a hard drive to SSD and it worked fine. Nice GUI too. Using it soon again same job different drive
I tested this deal, and by my calculations, it only gave me a 35% discount. But I reckon it's still a great deal for AOMEI Backupper Professional + Free Lifetime Upgrades.
You described the opinion that Backupper is proved for my purposes too. I am very new to it but it has taken precedence and assumed a higher priority so far. Can't say enough good things about this program that only a year ago i shy'd away from.
Just be careful with it. I tested AOMEI Backupper on a laptop, and when I uninstalled it, my laptop wouldn't boot anymore. There are threads about it on the AOMEI Forum, but not many answers. AOMEI support is very poor. From what I can understand, it doesn't affect all systems.
I mainly use a Aomei Backupper PE and have not seen any issue here. After running it people need to detach/stop it's services which i make sure after each use. Those are the usual culprits that can fudge things up sometimes. I set them to manual instead of Automatic to be on the safe side.
Interesting. I found in the list of services (only) the "Aomei Backupper Scheduler Service" (and set it immediately to "Manual" ). Please can you tell me if there are any other services connected with Aomei Backupper?
That's the one. You got it. Some don't implement scheduling so it's just another free roaming service that you can stop after usage.
