I'm loving this browser so much. I didn't realize what a gem it was until I started using it. And the more you use it, the more obvious it becomes. There are some amazing features that are not made known until you use it. And the Pale Moon extensions are awesome. So are the Pale Moon developers and the community. This is a browser as browsers should be. Long live Pale Moon.

This is one of the reasons I use Palemoon: the browser is light and snappy, a pleasure to use. There are some limitations, like not being able to use the recent web extensions, it's up to each user to decide if the browser is his cup of tea or not; to me there's no other. As to security I trust the developers and, as Hadron said, the community is a plus.
From the same article: "The Archive server is used to serve older versions of Pale Moon; the browser's main distribution channels were not affected by the breach." FUD spread by an ignorant or a troll at best.
I have used palemoon for years and never had a single security incident with it.I have done internet banking with palemoon for just as long and never a problem. It is the only browser which is customisable to my liking and the developer has always been courteous with any issues i may have had which was seldom.
I've run PaleMoon portable for a few weeks (Windows version), but the display was a bit strange. Characters display was somewhat jaggy.

I was disappointed when Pale Moon dev dropped support for XP even though I understand the reasons why, but good to see several devs have picked up the mantel and have forked PM browser to run on XP. MyPal and New Moon are 2 examples. There are others as well.
The FUD attack in this thread -- and the clear, cogent responses thereto -- convinced me to use Pale Moon. Purveyors of FUD are bottom feeders, regurgitating second-hand information, unsubstantiated rumors, and fake news. Bleck!
I use New Moon. ____________________________________ @ To All Another list that works with Pale Moon: https://wiki.hyperbola.info/doku.php?id=en:project:iceweasel-uxp_addons P.S. If you don't like the themes available for Pale Moon consider that the Seamonkey themes (the most recent ones) also work
Yes, they are almost as hysterical as the global warming, then changed to climate change scaremongers.
Although I run Vivaldi (both Stable and Snapshot versions), Opera and Firefox, Pale Moon is my favourite. It's my default browser and has been for several years now. It's an excellent browser.
