Well I clicked on the unlink button but it didn't work as intended. The link is safe but I will put it in a code tag. Btw the link in your previous post is live as well.
here's how to do it type: Code: [PLAIN]INSERT URL HERE[/PLAIN] That way the link wouldn't be clickable
the only feature you need from Comodo to "compliment" Kaspersky is the auto-sandboxing, nothing else. Been using the combo in my sig for over a year now without any issue. Hell I have seen Kaspersky's System Watcher reacting on things happening inside Comodo's container. I wouldn't even use Comodo's HIPS if it was Comodo only, it's way too sensitive.
I disagree. While Kaspersky's System Watcher is good (it is some kind of behaviour /exploit blocker and can rollback ransomware attacks and other stuff using advanced malware disinfection) I like Comodo's Firewall, Protected Files and Folders, Script Analysis (along with the HIPS it is useful to detect fileless attacks), shellcode injections detection etc. If you use Kaspersky IS then I agree and you can use only the auto-sandboxing (or even CCAV with antivirus protection disabled) but Kaspersky Free doesn't have (TAM) and a Firewall so I like the HIPS and the Firewall enabled but I guess it is a matter of personal choice.
Kaspersky Free is missing the Firewall, that's correct, but everything else you listed that Comodo is useful for, is present in Kaspersky Free as well.
Nope. Kaspersky Free is missing TAM (Trusted Application Manager) as well so it doesn't have HIPS too. I personally prefer to disable the VirusScope (since the System Watcher is better in my opinion), to disable Comodo's Cloud (since KSN is better in my opinion) and to disable Comodo's Web Filtering (since Kaspersky's Web AV is better in my opinion) and to disable some unneeded modules for me in Kaspersky like (IM and Mail antivirus) but to do that I should replace KAF with KSCF. This is really very light and efficient combo when tuned and used properly but everyone is free to use whatever they like.
TAM missing doesn't mean HIPS is missing, Application Control is there in the Free versions so HIPS must be there as well. and TAM is way too strict anyhow.
I didn't said that... 1. Could you please let me know what drive you are using - Sata 3 SSD, NVMe M.2 SSD, HDD? 2. How many free space do you have on your hard drive? 3. Did you change the scan scope for Full Scan (what is the security level you have set for the scan, did you select to scan all files or only by extensions, did you select to scan only new and changed files, did you enable iSwift and iCheker) or you are using the default settings for the Full Scan? It took almost 24 min. on my Samsung 850 Pro to complete. I have 40 GB free of 120 GB on max security settings.
