Writing in Edge Dev inside Application Guard at this very moment. Really impressed by how well it works. A lot snappier than regular Edge inside AG.

looks like you're the only one on wilders using this dns provider. what are its pros over others for you?

I use it too, DoH-security version on my non-VPNed devices. I didn't get any issues/FPs yet compared to others DNS, and I don't feel any noticeable slowdowns.

I agree with @guest , no slowdowns and good protection (it catches nearly every new entry at phishtank).
Together with Blocksi Web Filter, they offer a great web protection :thumb:

Removed Webroot Secure AnyWhere. Running just McAfee now on all my machines until I kind find a good sidekick for it.

Yes, I use all of them simultaneously, at max settings! o_O:eek: :argh:

Seriously though, those are just softs I've tried over time, in varying combinations and to varying degrees, on my test machine - attention always paid to overlap, and any mutual exclusions.
Many are or were paid (AppGuard SOLO, ReHIPS, AdGuard), lifetime licenses from the past (Sandboxie, Malwarebytes, Zemana), or betas, complementary (HmP.A, BlackFog Privacy) or otherwise, but mostly unused.
I used to have more of an appetite to test stuff than I do now, getting lazy :isay:. For example, I used to have previous AppGuard and NVT ERP highly configured, but can't be bothered to replicate this into new versions.
I will kill the sig later to avoid confusion.

Currently on my main system, with alternate boot option configured through Terabyte BootIt-UEFI:
    1.
    - Glasswire Elite (for monitoring only)
    - OSA (passive logging only at the moment)
    - EAM
    - HmP.A beta (testing)
    - Excubits Pumpernickel protecting external USB backups
    2.
    - WD
    - Hard _Configurator beta (Recommended settings, ConfigureDefender at High)

Macrium Reflect is really my go-to for rare stuff-ups (can't ever remember being infected) ... though I have other imaging programs: Terabyte IFW, AOMEI Backupper Pro - and Bvckup 2 for data (external USB backups also copied to second offline USB). All paid.
Firefox with uBO and Roboform add-ons only on both systems (may be replaced with MS Chromium-based Edge when it goes into production on 2. above).

I do try other extensions on my test machine, uMatrix, Decentraleyes, Privacy Badger, Temporary Containers, whatever ...

Hope that clears that up! :D

Playing with security softs was a bit of a hobby, but less so now - I have shifted towards simplicity; I am actually a 'safe surfer' anyway ...
and $ (our declining '****hole' currency) does play a role :D ...
I am getting AppGuard SOLO at a discounted rate, but still, won't renew (not really for consumers anyway).

    ReHIPS
    ShadowDefender
    AdGuard
    Raxco InstantRescue
    Prey Anti-Theft

    Swaped out SandBoxie for ReHIPS.
From what Ive seen and read here and elsewhere I dont have much faith in Sophos.

May I ask: was this challenging to set up ReHIPS? I am considering a like-minded move.

Not as much as one would think, although there is a learning curve as with any security software of this type.
There is a "Learning Mode" in the GUI , I would recommend using getting started.
Also visit their forum, helpful information there.
There is an User Guide for an older version online which might be somewhat useful,
just Google search "ReHIPS user guide".

A couple of changes: I have removed Kaspersky Free and moved to Quad9 DNS.

With Windows Defender becoming quite the antivirus, it seemed silly to carry on using a third-party solution. Being able to run it in sandboxed mode is another advantage. Regarding Quad9, I discovered that there is an option to use EDNS Client-Subnet - something Cloudflare does not support. I was previously using Google DNS, which does not offer malware blocking as Quad9 does.
