Before buying anything online, I always look at reviews first. I use the Fakespot and ReviewMeta Chrome extensions, to check for fake reviews on Amazon, but I never buy from there.
my buys on amazon are countable on one hand in the last 10 years. nor do i trust choices, reviews at all or other. and they truly trash RMA so i wont push this waste of resources.

I'm pushing 70 and remember when I was a little kid hearing the old folks say "buyer beware." Pretty sure they heard it form the old folks when they were kids and so on back to the days when some one traded a good fox pelt for an out-of-balance spear. (Ref. caveat emptor.) There isn't any difference between "Amazon's Choice" (or that overbearing animation on most any e-retailer's web site) and that colossal display in the middle of the isle at the big box store. Or those product stands at the front doors of the chain store retailers. Or any other pay-for-play retail marketing scheme. Four out of five dentists recommend Wilders Mouthwash!
