The release notes mention important improvements. Is there a way to install this new version on Mint, without needing to compile it?
The how-to page https://gparted.org/livecd.php doesn't mention using YUMI but it worked. I just used YUMI to put both the live distros onto a USB stick. Needed only 660 mb. Booting the USB stick on a win 7 UEFI GPT computer offered a choice of which distro to start. The AMD64 version looked normal but I didn't have time to actually do anything with it
I would imagine, if it isn't already, the latest GParted will be in the Debian repositories shortly. I have grown to rely upon this product.
