Hi @Darren Williams Here's a list of recognized trackers reported by Exodus Privacy. If you can add them to your list of trackers to be blocked that would be great https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/trackers/
Thanks NiteRanger. G1111 Please contact me via OPM and we can do something. We are not ready publicly just yet.
Darren Williams I have noticed that although BF is recording the advertising and profiling blocks on the GUI if I click on the relevant tab to bring up the daily blocks for the last 7 days the graph is only showing the advertising blocks, no profiling blocks are shown. This has only been occurring since the update to 3.7.1 which I updated to the same day as the computer (Win 10 home x64) updated to 1809. Is this a known occurrence / bug?
BlackFog Announces Partnership with Vodacom SA https://www.itnewsafrica.com/2019/05/vodacom-enters-cyber-security-partnership-with-blackfog/
Indeed: https://www.blackfog.com/blackfog-partners-with-vodacom-sa/ I am in South Africa ... and with Vodacom, on prepaid. But I suspect it may be made available to business (contract) customers only.
Re Vodacom, we will be rolling it out to consumers later on. The first stage of the partnership is for business and you should see some stuff happening very soon. Right now its Vodacom is scaling it up internally.
Exciting stuff. For the benefit of others, South Africa surprisingly has always been advanced in some IT areas ... in banking for example. @Darren Williams, can you confirm I would need to ditch AdGuard for Android to use BFP? BFP use it's own VPN? See posts #483 and #485 above.
One thing I know is that Adguard, Blokada etc can block ads in streaming movies, add blocklists and can change your DNS servers. BFP can't
Some of those features (WhiteListing and Blacklisting) are enabled from the Enterprise console actually. We may bring them to the UI in the next version if people want them though. We are also adding more ad blocking for movies as well, we do some already with recent updates and a lot more are coming.
I didn't realise the Android version had also been updated some time ago. https://www.blackfog.com/change-log-privacy-android/
Auto-updated without a problem overnight here. Profiling as attached (don't know how it looked before ...).
Profiling seems to be working as expected on this machine now. Don't know what was up previously. Maybe it just needed to click over the UTC.
